# Negotiate to keep moving forward

Inspired by [Martin Luther King Jr.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Martin%5FLuther%5FKing%5FJr.?ref=narendravardi.com)'s [moving forward quote](https://www.goodreads.com/quotes/26963-if-you-can-t-fly-then-run-if-you-can-t-run?ref=narendravardi.com), I wrote the below quote on negotiation. Hope you like it! :)

> If you can't negotiate face to face, then use a video call, if you can't negotiate over a video call, then use a phone call, if you can't negotiate over a phone call, then use an e-mail; but whatever you do, you have to negotiate to keep moving forward.

This is a something every Software Engineer should do when they are changing companies.
